Jake McCready is a NYC- based actor, originally from Dallas, Texas. He is a recent graduate of The New School for Drama MFA acting program. Jake is an actor, director and teaching artist, striving to reach those who have not yet discovered the magic of performance.

After receiving his BA in Theater Performance and Directing from The University of North Texas in 2014, Jake moved to NYC to pursue his MFA and his dreams.

In November of 2017, Jake and his roommates suffered a devastating fire in Hamilton Heights leaving them homeless and without any possessions. The love and support from friends and artists alike has been very overwhelming as they try to resume a semblance of the life they once lived.

Jake also has extensive background working with and educating young artists. While in Texas, he worked closely with Ohlook Performing Arts Center, a 501(C)(3) non-profit children's theater in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Recently, he was a teaching artist at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts Play-Theatre program at the historic Woodstock concert venue.
